Sectionilizers are designed for automatically isolating the faulted sections of an overhead line distribution system. They generally used together with reclosers in common practice and can be integrated in to a monitoring and controlling interface system. Simply sectionilizers isolate permanent faults and provide power continuity in the rest of the system.
